My Dunedin portrait sessions are relaxed and easygoing, with plenty of guidance so you never need to worry about what to do with your hands, where to look or how to pose. We can keep things simple and natural, or push the styling into something more editorial, fashion-inspired or creative depending on what feels right for you. I use flattering studio lighting and carefully chosen backgrounds to create images that feel refined without becoming stiff or overly posed.

Whether you’re updating your personal brand, celebrating a milestone, building a modelling portfolio or simply want beautiful portraits of yourself, we shape the session around you. There’s plenty of chatting, experimenting and finding the little angles and expressions that feel authentic rather than forced. You don’t need to arrive knowing how to be in front of a camera; that’s my job. The aim is for you to leave having actually enjoyed being photographed, with portraits that feel confident, contemporary and unmistakably yours.

We’ll work together on clothing, backgrounds, lighting and the overall feel so the finished images suit both you and where you plan to use them. I’m always watching for the little moments in between the posed shots too; often that’s where the most natural expressions happen.
