I'm Angela, a commercial photographer based in Dunedin, and I love working with businesses, makers and brands to create imagery that feels like them.

So, what does product photography actually involve?
Sometimes, the best approach is to keep things simple. A clean background, beautiful light and thoughtful composition can show off a product's shape, colour, texture and detail without unnecessary distractions. This works particularly well for websites, online stores and product listings.
Other times, a little more creativity is called for. Props, interesting textures, complementary colours and carefully considered lighting can help tell a story about your product and the brand behind it.
Perhaps you want something soft and natural, bold and colourful, or a little more dramatic. Maybe you have a very clear picture in your head, or perhaps you know how you want your brand to feel but aren't quite sure how to translate that into photographs.
